Description
Combat Rescue Officer is a fast first-person shooter that blends modern military action with a darker twist: the enemies you face are undead. You take on the role of a member of a special strike unit, and your job is simple to state and hard to do: fight through the hostile forces and survive. What sets it apart from lighter browser shooters is the depth of its controls. Beyond moving and shooting, you can crouch, throw grenades, patch yourself up with a medical kit, swing a melee attack, open an inventory and switch on a flashlight for dark areas. You also carry several weapons and can swap between them on the fly. All of this means you can adapt to each situation instead of relying on one tactic. Controls
How to play
- 1Walk with WASD or the arrow keys and use the mouse to aim and shoot.
- 2Switch weapons with the mouse wheel or the 1 to 3 keys, and press V for a melee attack.
- 3Press G to throw a grenade, H to use a medical kit and Ctrl to crouch.
- 4Press L to toggle the flashlight, I to open your inventory and Esc to pause.
Tips
- Turn on the flashlight before entering dark spaces so enemies cannot surprise you.
- Use the melee attack on a lone enemy up close to save ammunition.
- Heal between fights rather than in the middle of one, when you are most exposed.
