Description
Summer Match 3 puts a seasonal spin on the familiar match-three formula. The board is stacked with sunny, summer-themed items arranged in columns, and your job is to clear them by lining up groups of three or more identical pieces. The way you move pieces is a little different from the usual swap-two-tiles approach. Here you pick up an item and drop it onto another column, placing it on top of what is already there. When three or more matching items end up next to each other in a straight line, either across or up and down, they disappear from the board. That column-based movement adds a light layer of planning. You need to think about where each piece will land and what it will sit next to once it arrives. Tips
- Before dropping an item, check what it will land next to both sideways and below.
- Try to set up a match that will trigger more matches as items shift, rather than clearing pieces one group at a time.
- Keep columns from getting too tall, so you always have space to place the next item.
