Feudal Wars is a multiplayer real-time strategy game that wears its inspiration openly: if you have played Age of Empires, the rhythm will feel familiar. You build up a medieval settlement, grow its economy and raise an army, all while your opponents are doing the same. There are 12 civilizations to pick from. Your workers gather resources such as gold and wood, which you spend on buildings and troops. Over the course of a match you can progress through three distinct ages, opening up new options as your realm develops. Military units include swordsmen, archers and cavalry, so mixing them sensibly is part of the strategy. Victory goes to whoever wipes out every enemy building, which means defending your own base matters as much as attacking. It runs right in the browser with full mouse controls, and it is a solid choice for anyone who enjoys classic base-building and army management. Runs entirely in your browser; no account needed.

How to play

1Left-click to select a unit or building, or double-click to select all similar units on screen.
2Click and drag with the left button to draw a box around several units at once.
3Right-click to give orders such as moving, attacking or gathering resources.
4Push the mouse to the screen edge to move the camera and use the scroll wheel to zoom.

Tips

Get workers gathering gold and wood immediately; a strong economy supports everything else.
Advance to the next age once your resource flow is steady to unlock new possibilities.
Mix swordsmen, archers and cavalry rather than relying on one unit type, and keep some troops home to defend.
