Description

Hide & Seek Go And Find gives the old playground classic a family-sized makeover. Rather than playing one fixed role, you can pick from five different characters, and each one has its own reason for searching. The father goes looking for his kids, while the mother carries out her own careful search. The child is on the hunt for hidden chocolates, the police officer is chasing down a thief, and the thief tries to quietly gather treasure without getting caught. Switching characters changes what you are looking for and how you approach the hunt, which keeps the idea fresh. The game is also more open than a typical hide-and-seek title. Its control list includes driving, jumping, sprinting, a map, a police siren and even combat buttons, so expect to move around a larger area on foot and in vehicles. It runs offline, and with so many keys available, it is worth opening the in-game instructions screen early to get your bearings. Runs entirely in your browser; no account needed.

How to play

1Choose one of the five characters and learn what that role is searching for.
2Move and drive with W, A, S and D; press F to get in or out of a car and Space to jump.
3Use Left Shift to sprint or use nitro, M to open the map, and C to change the camera.
4Fire or punch with the left mouse button, aim with the right, and switch weapons with the scroll wheel.
5Press I to see the full instructions, P or Escape to pause, and L to toggle the cursor.

Tips

Open the map with M whenever you lose your way; it is much faster than wandering at random.
Use a vehicle to cover long distances, then go on foot to check small corners where things may be hidden.
If your car gets stuck, press R to reset it instead of trying to drive it free.
